Good Eatin'
Lots of good eateries are within ten to fifteen minutes of the cottage. The most popular spot of the neighborhood, the Pine Mountain Grill, is a beautiful facility backed by Pine Mountain and home of some tasty country cooking. The Court House Cafe right in downtown Whitesburg has more of a cosmopolitan fare. The cafe is owned and operated by a visitor who came to Letcher County from New York back in the 60's and found that she and her husband couldn't leave the area. The Parkway Inn Restaurant has a nice, peaceful atmosphere also with good home cooking.
